Tea and Tarot: Beltane

This is a no-pressure environment for all levels of experience where you can ask any Tarot questions you have, practice reading the cards for others, and receive readings in return. We will begin by discussing ways to shift your consciousness and open up before a reading with a short, grounding guided meditation. Then we will pair off and form small groups and practice giving one card readings to each other.

Sarah will be available throughout to support the group and answer any questions that come up about certain Tarot cards, what they may mean when they show up in a reading, how the art of your deck may relate to the ‘traditional’ meanings and how you can read the cards intuitively without needing to know the intended meaning.

Tea and Tarot evenings are held as close as possible to the ancient Celtic calendar quarter and cross-quarter days. Sarah will give some history of each one and discuss divination practices that may have been used on those days. We will honor nature and the spirit of the day by creating a small themed offering to the land at Mountain Hollow each time. Light refreshments provided in the form of nourishing snacks and delicious herbal tea will of course be available and fancy china teacups to sip it from!

$33 per person. Please bring your Tarot deck and a cloth for laying your cards on.

Sarah will have extra decks for you to use if you don’t have one.

New Tarot decks, Sarah’s Major Arcana Tarot journal, and other useful tools will be available for purchase.

Medicine Womyn's Retreat: Back to the Roots

RETURNING TO THE ROOTS - Imbolc 2025, XIV

As we navigate these wild times, a deepening is calling.

A call to return home to ancient wisdoms. To explore rituals and earth based practices that bring our power back into our own hands, bodies and communities. These sacred traditions yearn to be known, lived, and adapted to sustain our whole selves in these modern and rapidly changing times.

We are now returning to the roots of this sacred wisdom, while taking account of all that has grown, changed, shifted, cracked or healed within over these recent years. And through this evolution and return to our origin, we draw from deep wells and source our own empowerment.

2025 brings Medicine Womyn’s Retreats into its 10th year, and this Imbolc will circle us together for the 14th time. February 1st, 2025, in our winter one day gathering…

Spiral deep into the roots with us where we will share the day moving through workshops, sacred ceremony, and counsel that invite us to awaken our wild spirit through embodied knowing.

You are invited…

Your wild inner wisdom wants to be heard. Join us, as we circle together, to listen, and weave back into the wisdom that rests deeply in our bones.

JOIN US in the quiet stillness of winter, as we turn inward, alight the flame, and remember together…

In the duration of one potent and magical day together, we will ground in sacred ceremony,  share a nourishing cacao elixir, melt into somatic nervous system self-regulation tools and techniques, explore a guided journey deepening our relationship with personal allies and totems, cultivate Permaculture and herbal knowledge, honor elders and the ones who came before us, and share in meaningful connection in circle with other wild hearts.

I won’t be ‘working’ at this retreat, but I will be enjoying it with my sistars and I am also offering an Ancestry Reading in the scholarship raffle. There will also be a coupon code for Ancestry readings in the retreat program for any attendee to use.
