It was my pleasure to do a mediumship reading for Diana Gonsalves Hansen, and to be able to connect to 3 of her spirit guides and also to the spirits of the 12 women who are in her house and on her land that work in partnership with her through her business Mountain Hollow Medicinals.
The second guide to come forward, I first saw a single butterfly. As I watched it flutter, it came to land on the Green Woman. A woman made entirely of plants, with a body like the trunk and branches of a tree, her long hair spilling down made of vines, leaves, and the most beautiful flowers. She facilitates connection with the plants and their wisdom. I pulled a Tarot card to learn more about why she is with Diana, and I pulled the 6 of Swords.
This card told me that She helps with transitions. The green world is always there in some form, and that provides a constant for Diana. When help or relief arrives just in time, she has helped bring that to her. She helps with healing; the plants help heal past traumas, and she has supported Diana always along her spiritual journey. She reminded Diana that she must ask for and accept help from others. The plants can help with resistance to change.

I had the absolute honor of doing a reading for a truly inspiring member of my community. The strongest energy around her was one of her spirit guides, a proud and fierce female energy who was an ancestor both in past lives and in the current life. The more I do this work, the more I am convinced that our higher selves as spiritual beings choose to continue to reincarnate within the same bloodline as much as possible. I find that older souls especially do this, as they wish to connect to aspects of the other lives they have lived and carry on certain strengths, qualities, and karmic lessons and bonds.
This guide connected my client to the Queens and the royal blood of Kush, an ancient African civilization just south of Egypt along the river Nile.
Along with strength, this guide is around to help her with graceful leadership and great public influence, and also with spiritual healing. There are so many types of spiritual healing, and I saw my client practicing a hybrid of her experiences, training, influences, intuitions, dreams and collaborations. A truly unique healer with the ability to speak her truth and have it resonate within anyone who listens, all will find different and relevant meanings for their own journeys.
Gold was a really strong part of this guide's energy and place of origin. Many peoples, including those of Kush believed that it had protective powers, and it came through that this would be especially true for my client as well. The more she wears the better, and she may find that she begins to receive gold as gifts from those around her. Exactly as one would pay tribute to a queen…
This client was such a delight to work with, and wanted to deepen the connection between herself and her spirit guides. She had not previously been able to see them or perceive their names and was hoping I could connect to one to create a sketch and a visual image for her.
When I sat down to do the reading, I sensed at least 3 beings come into the room with myself and my own guides. I asked for one to step forward and show themselves to me more clearly, and asked for their name. I immediately heard (clairaudiently) “Memaya”. I began to see a female with glowing bluish-white skin and an orange robe. I started to sketch her and pull some Tarot cards to help convey the messages Memaya and the other guides wanted my client to hear. Even though I shuffled my deck between each card, all 5 cards I pulled were of the suit of wind/swords. Wind, reiki energy, the mental realm and the magic of our breath were all themes for the personal messages my client received. So, when I added watercolor to the sketch of Memaya, I showed her buoyed in the air by two yellow streams of energy, and her hair floats above her as if lifted and shaped by the wind.
During the Zoom call when I conveyed everything I perceived during her reading, I began to describe how I’d seen Memaya and when I mentioned her glowing, blue/white skin my client looked shocked, eyes wide and hands clapped over her mouth. She explained to me that in the week between our consultation call and our reading call, she had seen a “light being” with bluish skin, and she had told herself if I mentioned anything like this that she would know it was real and coming from her guides, and not from her imagination. So, she received a beautiful validation that she could trust her intuition, her own clairvoyance and connection with her guides. Nothing makes me happier than to bring a moment like this to a client, it is the reason I started Spirited Places and what I hope to bring to everyone I work with. We all have the ability to connect to the spirit world and our personal guides and helping spirits, and I am here to tell you that No! you are not making things up and Yes! you can trust in your intuitive perceptions and you are absolutely a powerful, divine being.
